Mobile community and ringtone supplier Pitch turned to Ericsson to provide WAP subscription billing with Payforit for the UK market. Ericsson supplied Internet Payment eXchange (IPX), enabling Pitch to offer a secure and easy-to-use interface. As a major supplier to Pitch, Ericsson’s IPX cross-operator billing system Payforit was a natural solution for use in the UK market. Ericsson was the only accredited supplier of Payforit, which enabled Pitch to integrate its charges with the operators’ billing, providing transparent charging for end-users.
