Mobile operator Bahrain Telecommunications Company (Batelco), selected Ericsson to design and deploy an In-Building Solution to the Bahrain Financial Harbour, covering a total of 380 000 square meters.

Neutral service broker, Zitius, selected Ericsson to supply a comprehensive end-to-end fiber optics solution and a variety of services including, internet, TV and telephony to its 36 000 end users.
Ericsson took on a Managed Services role, which has maintained efficiency and reduced operating costs for Zitius and ensured the smooth rollout of a quality network.

Iceland has a mature pay TV market and one of the highest penetration rates of IPTV in the world. Vodafone Iceland needed to ensure that it had an innovative IPTV service, capable of standing up to the competition in the marketplace, at the same time as generating growth. The delivery of an IPTV service, provides Vodafone Iceland with the ability to retain DSL customers, while transforming the end user experience from a passive, one way stream of channels, into an interactive, two way personalized TV service.
Ericsson takes the prime integrator role and delivers an end-to-end IPTV solution to Vodafone Iceland including IPTV middleware, Content Distribution Platform, video headend, CA/DRM and a customized TV portal.
